Job Requirements

  • Minimum age to serve alcoholic beverages as required by law
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning and stocking duties
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to engage guests with friendly and enthusiastic interactions
  • Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage preparation
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow company policies and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Make personal connections with guests to create loyalty through engaging conversations
  • Participate in company’s Mystery Shop, GEM and BARS programs
  • Check guests identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Read and organize tickets to quickly and accurately serve guests and manage large crowds
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per standard operating procedures
  • Replace kegs and restock bottle beer and alcohol when necessary
  • Monitor and manage bar inventory and cost control measures including tracking waste
  • Monitor current levels of inventory including stemware, glassware, garnishes to ensure proper levels
  • Take food and beverage orders from serving staff and directly from guests
  • Collect and accurately process guest payments per company standard procedures
  • Attempt to limit problems and liabilities related to excessive drinking by taking appropriate precautions
  • Maintain clean and sanitary bar area, equipment, blenders and perform glass washing
  • Perform front of house support including opening and closing duties to maintain operational cleanliness as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned by management with appropriate pay rate adjustments
