Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
- knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- ability to follow standard operating procedures
- availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Make personal connections with guests to create loyalty through engaging conversations
- participate in company programs such as Mystery Shop, GEM and BARS
- follow company standards for ID verification
- read and organize tickets to quickly and accurately serve guests
- prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per standard operating procedures and specifications
- replace kegs and restock bottle beer and alcohol when necessary
- monitor and manage bar inventory and cost control measures
- ensure proper levels of stemware, glassware, and garnishes
- take food and beverage orders from staff and guests
- collect and process guest payments accurately
- manage situations involving excessive drinking with appropriate precautions
- maintain cleanliness of bar area and equipment
- perform glass washing
- support front-of-house opening and/or closing duties
- perform other duties as assigned by management
