Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment and handle stress as volume increases
- Ability to stand and walk for long shifts of 8 to 10 hours
- Must be physically mobile with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Must be able to use hand motions for preparing and serving drinks
- Must be flexible with schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
- Must be able to work in environments with dust, smoke, noise, crowds, and varying temperature
- Ability to read, write, understand and speak English
- Mathematical ability for money handling
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team environment and under stress as business volume increases
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Mathematical ability including addition and subtraction
- Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hour shifts
- Proficient in reading, writing legibly, understanding and speaking English
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of cocktail ingredients and proper mixing and pouring techniques
- Physical mobility with reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Ability to reach above and below shoulder level, grip small items, bend, stoop, and twist
- Skilled with hand motions required for preparing and pouring drinks and cleaning bar areas
- Ability to work in constricted areas
- Responsiveness to visual and oral cues
- Flexibility with scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in environments with dust, secondhand smoke, noise, temperature variability, lighting, vibration, crowds and air quality conditions
Job Duties
- Providing prompt, courteous beverage refreshment service to guests
- Providing a great experience for every guest every time through courteous interaction
- Keeping informed of continually changing promotional beverages, events and services
- Maintaining integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
- Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening as needed according to guidelines
- Serving as ambassador of goodwill during work and at public relations functions
- Promoting casino events and programs
- Providing personalized service and using guest names
- Resolving service problems according to guidelines
- Providing fast, friendly, professional beverage service to guests and servers
- Preparing and pouring drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe
- communicating with beverage servers
- presenting drinks to guests or servers as required
- Slicing and pitting fruit as required
- Operating and maintaining equipment and utensils as per safety and operational guidelines
- Operating a cash register/POS System and accurately handling transactions
- Maintaining a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with health and safety guidelines
