Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older to serve alcoholic beverages
  • adhere to company payroll policies and conduct rules
  • demonstrate knowledge of safety and security procedures
  • able to travel as needed for hotel familiarization and content creation
  • willing to work primarily during business hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm PST with occasional weekend or holiday shifts
  • service oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to follow directions with attention to detail and accuracy
  • team player with ability to work under minimal supervision

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • college degree preferred
  • 1+ previous bartending experience in hospitality or fast-paced environment preferred
  • advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • strong customer service and sales skills
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • energetic and outgoing personality
  • excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency with basic financial calculations
  • typing speed of 45 wpm
  • experience with Microsoft Office and Opera preferred
  • ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Duties

  • Make and serve drinks to guests following established guidelines and safety controls
  • perform all guest contact activities cordially and professionally maintaining guest satisfaction
  • ring guest checks and process payments accurately per company policy
  • complete liquor requisitions and maintain stock levels
  • comply with all state liquor laws
  • perform opening and closing side work duties
  • attend to bar and tables taking and delivering orders timely
