Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older to serve alcoholic beverages
- adhere to company payroll policies and conduct rules
- demonstrate knowledge of safety and security procedures
- able to travel as needed for hotel familiarization and content creation
- willing to work primarily during business hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm PST with occasional weekend or holiday shifts
- service oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to follow directions with attention to detail and accuracy
- team player with ability to work under minimal supervision
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- college degree preferred
- 1+ previous bartending experience in hospitality or fast-paced environment preferred
- advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and POS systems
- strong customer service and sales skills
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- energetic and outgoing personality
- excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- proficiency with basic financial calculations
- typing speed of 45 wpm
- experience with Microsoft Office and Opera preferred
- ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Duties
- Make and serve drinks to guests following established guidelines and safety controls
- perform all guest contact activities cordially and professionally maintaining guest satisfaction
- ring guest checks and process payments accurately per company policy
- complete liquor requisitions and maintain stock levels
- comply with all state liquor laws
- perform opening and closing side work duties
- attend to bar and tables taking and delivering orders timely
