Job Requirements
- Direct deposit and social security card required
- Meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements
- One-year probationary period may be required
- Satisfactorily complete employment verification (E-Verify) check
- Complete minimum 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days of employment and 4 hours annual refresher training
- Subject to completion of pre-employment checks per AR 215-3, para.2
- Complete Tier 1 background investigation for Common Access Card
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 20 years old at appointment
- Credit check required
- Physical exam required
Job Qualifications
- Must meet state or local age requirements for serving alcohol at time of appointment
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds
- Possess arithmetic skills necessary for billing and inventory
- Skilled in mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Ability to monitor and supervise other bar staff
- Resumes must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities
Job Duties
- Operate a small full-service bar mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Record sales and process payments accurately in accordance with procedures
- Stock the bar and maintain cleanliness of bar area, utensils, and equipment
- Keep records of beverage quantities dispensed and request restocking as needed
- Receive and verify stock deliveries for quantity and description
- Use tact and courtesy to refuse service to unruly or intoxicated patrons
- Apply arithmetic skills to calculate bills and make change
