Job Requirements
- Direct deposit and social security card required
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for the position
- One-year probationary period may be required
- Complete employment verification (E-Verify) check
- Complete minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days of employment and 4 hours refresher annually
- Subject to all pre-employment checks including medical examination
- Complete Tier 1 background investigation for Common Access Card
- Regularly lift and carry items up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds
- Stand for prolonged periods
- Work is primarily indoors
- Exposed to cuts and bruises
Job Qualifications
- Meet state/local age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
- Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds
- Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory
- Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
- Skill in mixing drinks using alcoholic beverages, beer, and soda
- Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons
Job Duties
- Set up bars for operation, obtain cash bank and stock service bar, assure adequate stock level is maintained, set up storeroom and work area for easy access to stock items
- Prepare a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff
- Record sales and make change or prepare charge slips
- Keep bar and work area clean and sanitary
- Identify persons who become unruly or intoxicated, resolve problems or seek assistance according to established procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
