Job Requirements

  • Direct deposit and social security card required
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for the position
  • One-year probationary period may be required
  • Complete employment verification (E-Verify) check
  • Complete minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days of employment and 4 hours refresher annually
  • Subject to all pre-employment checks including medical examination
  • Complete Tier 1 background investigation for Common Access Card
  • Regularly lift and carry items up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds
  • Stand for prolonged periods
  • Work is primarily indoors
  • Exposed to cuts and bruises

Job Qualifications

  • Meet state/local age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
  • Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds
  • Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory
  • Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
  • Skill in mixing drinks using alcoholic beverages, beer, and soda
  • Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons

Job Duties

  • Set up bars for operation, obtain cash bank and stock service bar, assure adequate stock level is maintained, set up storeroom and work area for easy access to stock items
  • Prepare a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff
  • Record sales and make change or prepare charge slips
  • Keep bar and work area clean and sanitary
  • Identify persons who become unruly or intoxicated, resolve problems or seek assistance according to established procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
