Job Description

Roadrunner Bowling Center, located at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico, is a recreational facility dedicated to providing entertainment and leisure activities for military personnel, their families, and civilian employees. Job Requirements

  • Direct deposit and Social Security card is required
  • meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
  • a one-year probationary period may be required
  • satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
  • able and willing to work mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
  • satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation, alcohol server class, and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually
  • subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks including a medical examination
  • incumbent is required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for access to federally-controlled facilities
  • be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds
  • meet state/local age requirements (21) for serving alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment
  • health and immunizations are required

Job Qualifications

  • Meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment
  • be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds
  • possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory
  • skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
  • demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position

Job Duties

  • Sets up bars for operation
  • obtains cash bank and stocks service bar
  • keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary
  • assures an adequate stock level is maintained
  • sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items
  • prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons
  • records sales and makes change
  • identifies persons who become unruly or who appear intoxicated
  • resolves the problem or seeks assistance in accordance with established procedures
