Job Description
Roadrunner Bowling Center, located at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico, is a recreational facility dedicated to providing entertainment and leisure activities for military personnel, their families, and civilian employees. Job Requirements
- Direct deposit and Social Security card is required
- meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
- a one-year probationary period may be required
- satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
- able and willing to work mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
- satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation, alcohol server class, and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually
- subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks including a medical examination
- incumbent is required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for access to federally-controlled facilities
- be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds
- meet state/local age requirements (21) for serving alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment
- health and immunizations are required
Job Qualifications
- Meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment
- be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds
- possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory
- skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
- demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position
Job Duties
- Sets up bars for operation
- obtains cash bank and stocks service bar
- keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary
- assures an adequate stock level is maintained
- sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items
- prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons
- records sales and makes change
- identifies persons who become unruly or who appear intoxicated
- resolves the problem or seeks assistance in accordance with established procedures
