Job Requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must possess and maintain a current California Food Handlers Certificate
- Must possess and maintain a current ABC-approved California Responsible Beverage Server Training Certificate
- Previous bartending experience required
- Basic math skills necessary
- Ability to accurately handle cash and operate a POS terminal/device
- Willingness to serve and entertain guests according to the perceived atmosphere and expectation
- Ability to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance
- Availability to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm
- Must have sound judgment and solid leadership skills and experience
- Must have strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service procedures
- Ability to communicate and understand predominant language(s) of guests
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Punctuality and reliable attendance
- Honesty and integrity
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have previous bartending experience with working knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor and common drink recipes
- Possess basic math skills and ability to operate a POS terminal/device
- Demonstrate an outgoing friendly personality with strong communication skills
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended business hours
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems using good judgment
- Show solid leadership skills and experience
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service procedures, and functions
- Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests

Job Duties
- Greet every guest warmly with an appropriate greeting as they enter
- Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages
- Provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests
- Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and consistent with the company’s standard drink recipes
- Upsell drink specials and food items as directed by management
- Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of an alcoholic beverage
- Handle the house bank and follow all cash handling procedures
- Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the POS system
- Collect payments from guests, process credit card charges, and accurately make changes as needed
- Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner
- Maintain high standards for safety and cleanliness in all areas of the bar
- Wash, sterilize, and polish glasses and dishes as directed
- Communicate any areas of need, problems, and concerns from a guest to management
- Complete all side work duties including restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
- Maintain strict compliance with state liquor regulations
- Keep equipment in order and report maintenance issues
- Drive company golf carts and other vehicles as needed
- Practice safe working habits and take required breaks and meal periods
- Accurately and promptly report 100% of cash and credit card tips to management for payroll and tax purposes
