Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years experience in a bar or similar environment preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to work a varied shift to include weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Job Duties

  • Make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed
  • Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available
  • Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork
  • Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar
  • Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority
  • otherwise refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
