Job Requirements

Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
Must have required certifications and licenses per local health and alcohol regulations
Physical ability to carry out job functions
Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly
Ability to coordinate needs for all guests at the bar top and service well
Ability to carry food and beverages
Physical ability to dance
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending experience preferred
Knowledge of food, liquor, beer, wine, and retail products
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to educate team members on drink recipes
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
Understanding of responsible alcohol service
Physical ability to perform job duties including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

Mix drinks for guests directly or through service staff
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar
Acknowledge guests immediately upon arrival
Provide an enjoyable bar experience
Ensure hot food is hot and cold food is cold
Be visible behind the bar to assist guests and service staff
Adhere to timing standards for product and service delivery
Apply positive suggestive sales to guide guests
Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages
Educate team members on drink recipes
Document and minimize waste
Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe
Follow all recipes and specifications for food and beverages
Complete daily cleaning calendar tasks
