Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- RBS certification or willingness to become certified within 30 days
- Current Food Handlers card
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, wines, spirits, and beers
- Ability to follow precise drink recipes with jigger usage
- Ability to operate MICROS system for transaction recording
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
- Ability to interact courteously with guests and staff
- Ability to adhere to grooming and uniform standards
- Ability to support team goals and work collaboratively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be RBS certified or obtain certification within 30 days of hire
- Must have current Food Handlers card
- Previous bartending experience in a professional setting preferred

Job Duties
- Preparing all alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for guests
- Assessing bar customer needs and preferences and making personalized recommendations
- Stock and maintain bar area to resort and health department standards
- Provide an exceptional and memorable guest experience
- Participate in ongoing training for professional development
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests sitting at the bar
- Set up bar and bar area according to resort standards
- Cut fruit and prepare garnishes as set by resort standards
- Consistently keep the bar area organized and clean
- Know all specialty cocktail ingredients and garnishes
- Follow pouring procedures appropriately using a jigger for accurate measurement
- Notify supervisors immediately of product shortages or out-of-stock items
- Have working knowledge of draft beer systems and how to change a keg
- Answer questions on menu selections and drinks to servers and guests
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, recooking orders, and product availability
- Record all transactions in MICROS system accurately
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass throughout the day
- Complete closing duties including restocking and turning off lights
- Present accurate checks and process payments
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to resort standards
- Anticipate and address guests' service needs
- Speak clearly and professionally
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Move and handle objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
- Assist supervisors with inventory
- Notify manager of suspicious ID cards or intoxicated guests
