Loggerhead's Pub is a prominent establishment operating within the Hospitality Division of Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) at Naval Station Mayport, Florida. Job Requirements
- Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation
- Must successfully pass the E-verify employment verification check
- Must go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process with two forms of identification
- May be required to pass pre-employment examinations
- A valid State driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles
- Must have salary sent to a financial institution by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer
- Selective Service Registration required for males born after 12/31/1959
- Work requires use of both arms, hands and legs, and involves prolonged standing, walking, reaching, and light lifting
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years old
- Work is normally performed inside with adequate lighting and heat
- Exposed to possible cuts, bruises, and slippery floors
Job Qualifications
- Specialized experience directly related to the duties
- Ability to read and comprehend the English language and write legibly
- Skill in preparing beverages according to name request from guests
- Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and to resolve the problem or seek assistance if needed
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
Job Duties
- Mixes and serves premixed alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from a full-service bar
- Serves liquor, soda, beer, and wine
- Prepares alcoholic drinks by selecting proper premix and garnish
- Prepares garnishes for mixed drinks
- Receives payment or charges to member's account
- Makes change and is accountable for cash fund
- Assists in taking inventory and maintaining records
- Keeps bar area clean and keeps area stocked properly at all times
- Washes bar equipment, glassware, and utensils
- Performs other sanitation duties within assigned work area as required
- Performs other related duties as required
- Independently performs duties according to standard operating procedures
