Job Requirements
- minimum of 21 years of age
- a high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- must possess and maintain a current California Food Handlers Certificate
- must possess and maintain a current ABC-approved California Responsible Beverage Server Training Certificate
- previous bartending experience with working knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor and common drink recipes
- possess basic math skills and have the ability to accurately handle cash and operate a point-of-sale terminal or device
- possess an outgoing friendly personality, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
- be willing to serve and entertain guests according to the perceived atmosphere and expectation of guests
- maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance and be well-spoken and professional
- ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- must be available to work a varied schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours of business
- able to work under pressure and remain calm to resolve problems using good judgment
- sound judgment and solid leadership skills and experience
- strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service procedures, and functions
- be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests
- be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- punctuality and regular and reliable attendance

Job Duties
- Greet every guest warmly with an appropriate greeting as they enter
- present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages
- provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests
- mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and consistent with the company\'s standard drink recipes
- upsell drink specials and food items as directed by management
- check identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of an alcoholic beverage
- handle the house bank and follow all cash handling procedures
