Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years bartending experience preferred
  • Must be TIPS certified
  • Must be 18 years or older to sell alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Physically able to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking and standing
  • May require wearing uniforms and personal protective equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years full service bartending experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of mixed drink recipes and point of sales computer systems
  • Must be TIPS certified
  • Good communication and social skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with emphasis on customer service
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Ability to pour mixed drinks and draft beer
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to ring alcoholic sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Check patrons' identification to ensure minimum age requirements are met for alcohol consumption and follow safe drinking guidelines
  • Prepare needed set-up for bar
  • Maintain accurate inventory of bar supplies including beer, liquor, wine, cups, mixers, and sodas
  • Handle cash sales accurately and responsibly
  • Close out every check once paid
  • Assist in set-up and break-down of bar equipment
  • Serve and sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Maintain a cheerful demeanor while on duty
  • Inventory all stand sheet items before and after events and initial bar paperwork
  • Calculate cash at end of shift and return bank to cash room
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management
  • Complete opening and closing duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
