Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be of legal drinking age as per state laws
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday shifts
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills
- Basic knowledge of alcohol service laws
- Must maintain a clean and presentable appearance
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of beverage preparation and service
- Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible part-time hours including evenings
- Basic math skills for handling cash and balancing sales

Job Duties
- Maintain good personal appearance at all times
- wear proper uniform and name tag as prescribed by the hotel
- Verify the accuracy on all checks for prices, taxes, and tips
- Greet all arriving guest in a pleasant manner, making them feel welcome
- Ensure that all newly seated guests receive immediate attention and that their orders are taken promptly and courteously
- Ensure the quality and appearance of the food and beverages you serve meets hotel and brand standards
- Maintain and count cash bank at the beginning of each shift and balance sales with monies taken in at the end of each shift
- Follow all rules and regulations regarding alcoholic beverages as set by their state's ABC Board
- Ensure no alcoholic beverages are given to under legal drinking age or intoxicated guest
- Responsible for cleaning and stocking of the bar
- Follow the daily cleaning schedule as set by management
- Maintain inventory and inform management when ordering is necessary
- Bartenders check waiters and waitresses to ensure that proper prices are being recorded
- Jigger is to be used for all bottle poured drinks
- Must understand and follow all health codes pertaining to safety and sanitation of the work area and beverage utensils
- Advise management of any unsatisfactory food or beverage items so it can be replaced
- Assist servers as necessary
- Additional duties from hotel manager will be assigned as necessary
