Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass pre-employment background check
Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
At least 1 year of bartending experience
Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits preparation and presentation
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Open availability and flexible schedule
Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
Ability to stand, bend, twist, and walk for job functions
Customer service and cash handling experience preferred

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass pre-employment (post offer) background check
Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
Requires at least 1 year of closely related bartending experience
Work experience in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred
Requires knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits as well as their preparation and presentation
Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
Can communicate effectively in English
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Open availability and flexible schedule for demanding hours
A bartending certificate is a plus
Basic computer and math skills
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Professional and positive disposition
Ability to keep the bar clean, stocked and well-organized
Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
Requires the ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
Frequently immerse hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions

Job Duties

Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
Greet customers and take food order
provide information about products and look for opportunity to up-sell products
Take orders and serve drinks and food to bar customers
Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while following recipes and/or product directions for mixing beverages
Nurture customers to provide exceptional guest experience
Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and deal with intoxicated guests
Follow all OHM customer service, adult beverage and cash handling policies and procedures
Make menu recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences
Ensure a clean, sanitized and well stocked bar
Check customers' IDs to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
Adhere to all opening and closing side work and cleaning schedules
Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
