Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • current bartenders' certification or appropriate license
  • 2-4 years of relevant bartender experience
  • knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
  • maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
  • guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
  • be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests
  • understand the details to enhance conversation as master of the bar
  • work collaboratively with restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • assist guests with concerns and guide them to satisfactory resolutions
  • finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
  • requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits
  • maintain stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables
  • mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard recipes and portion control
  • input orders into register and create checks
  • lock up and store beverages, food, equipment, deposit cash drops and secure bank
