- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Must have all certifications and licenses as required by local health department and alcoholic beverage commission statutes
- Ability to enforce company policies and laws and regulations regarding consumption of alcohol

Job Duties
- Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available
- Ensure that fruit and other garnishes are prepared
- Prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered
- Report complaints to a manager as soon as they occur
- Maintain and clean bar area and equipment
- Maintain daily inventory and records
- Check identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol
- Assist food servers and hostesses as needed
