Job Duties
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Mecha Noodle Bar
- Provide all Mecha guests a memorable experience based by cultivating unique interactions tailored to guests' needs and wants using the Mecha Steps of Service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Mecha’s standard and signature drink recipes
- Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, handle cash and make change if necessary
- Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol following state requirements
- Clean and sterilize glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Clean and wipe down bar top and chairs throughout the shift
- Balance cash receipts
- Record drink orders accurately and immediately after having received them into the POS system
- Ensure responsible alcohol service
- Complete pre-open prep work to ensure readiness for the day
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines for DOH
- Clean and close the bar using provided checklists
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines while performing tasks and work safely in the front of the house, on stairs, and in kitchen area/coolers
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
- Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the manager
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
- Coordinate with and assist fellow team members to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant
- Fill-in for fellow teammates where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
