Job Requirements
- Minimum age 21 to serve alcohol
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments
- Ability to learn and follow all beverage recipes and presentation standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must pass initial and ongoing training modules
- Ability to comply with all food safety, sanitation, and liquor laws
- Ability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends
- Professional appearance and punctuality required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous bartending or customer service experience beneficial
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation and presentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills
Job Duties
- Complete and pass required training modules
- Know work schedule, arrive on time, maintain uniform and professional appearance
- Know and understand beverage and menu options, follow established recipes and presentation guidelines
- Communicate with managers and hosts about reservations, guest flow, and special event needs
- Ensure the bar and lounge are clean, well-stocked, and set up correctly
- Greet guests in the bar, take beverage orders, prepare and serve drinks with outstanding service
- Guide guests through the menu, listen and explain specials, suggest items, and up-sell
- Accurately take and input food orders, serve appetizers and menu items properly
- Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction with beverages and food
- Maintain accurate pouring and portion control according to recipes
- Mix drinks for dining room guests and place on service bar area
- Present checks, process payments and complete tip-reporting
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- Clean, stock, and maintain the bar throughout the shift
- Perform side, opening, closing, and other duties as assigned
- Take phone calls for To Go orders
- Assist with Prime Society service and encourage membership
- Communicate guest requests, complaints, out-of-stock items, and improvement ideas to managers
- Work meetings, banquets and special events as scheduled
- Assist team members with station duties and side work
- Follow all policies, procedures, standards, and legal regulations related to liquor, food handling, sanitation, and safety
