Job Requirements

  • legible handwriting
  • strong customer service and oral communication skills
  • must hold a valid operator's license
  • must be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • U.S. work authorization required

  • wine experience and/or certification preferred
  • one year bartending experience preferred

Job Duties

  • take customers' food and drink orders
  • ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered to each table in a timely manner
  • suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials
  • make and serve drinks following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards
  • properly set up bar, including stocking and batching
  • follow health and safety practices always
  • control allocated guest checks by following established check-use procedures and legibly documenting all required information as the customer's order is taken and processed
  • process payments from guests and ensure accuracy of guest check and method of payment in order to safeguard customer and company
  • complete all prep work prior to bar start time
  • serve food and/or beverage ensuring consistency throughout meal
  • comply with all state and local liquor regulations
  • respond promptly to any guest request
  • maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and mannerism
  • maintain clear and open communication between all staff for overall outstanding dining experience
  • during service, maintain all work areas including any side work duties for overall productivity and success
  • once service is complete, all dining areas must be re-set
  • create a pleasurable dining experience for all of our guests
  • have fun at work
  • leave baggage at the door
  • come to work with a positive attitude ready and willing to help create a fun and memorable experience for our guests
