Job Requirements
- must meet the minimum legal age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages as mandated by local regulations
- be approachable and maintain a friendly and courteous attitude even during peak service times
- be available to work a variety of shifts including daytime evening and/or weekend hours based on operational needs
- thrive in a lively fast-paced work environment that may have moderate to high noise levels
- possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate instructions and information
- be capable of lifting and carrying items such as beverage cases ice bins and bus tubs weighing up to approximately 30 pounds
- move efficiently and safely within the bar area and stand for extended periods of time
- be able to walk or stand for the entirety of their scheduled shift
- frequently reach bend stoop lift and wipe down surfaces to ensure a clean and well-stocked bar area
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic setting
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain a positive attitude during busy periods
- knowledge of responsible alcohol service or willingness to learn
- basic inventory management skills
Job Duties
- contributes significantly to delivering high-quality drink service that complements our food and entertainment enhancing the overall fun and energetic atmosphere for our guests
- keeps the bartender and immediate supervisor promptly informed of any low stock levels spills or equipment malfunctions taking immediate action or suggesting appropriate solutions
- provides efficient assistance by quickly replenishing bar supplies preparing necessary garnishes and ensuring ice levels are maintained thereby helping to minimize guest wait times
- maintains a positive and helpful demeanor while assisting bartenders and proactively anticipating their needs during busy service periods
- assists with guest inquiries by relaying information accurately to the bartender and ensuring the bar environment is clean organized and conducive to a positive guest experience
- supports the bartender by swiftly and efficiently retrieving ingredients glassware and other required items
- ensures that empty glassware is promptly collected and the bar area is consistently kept tidy and presentable throughout service
