Job Requirements

  • One year of guest service experience
  • Six months of bartending experience or completion of an accredited bartending school
  • Completion of an internal fast-track bartending program (3 months)

Job Qualifications

  • One year of guest service experience
  • Six months of bartending experience or completion of an accredited bartending school
  • Completion of an internal fast-track bartending program (3 months) is acceptable
  • Above average knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and other beverages
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, safety rules, operating procedures, and procedure manuals
  • Strong communication skills to engage with guests and team members effectively
  • Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Formulate and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by offering drink recommendations, informing guests of specials, and utilizing product knowledge to enhance service
  • Accurately ring up transactions, process payments, and adhere to established cash handling policies
  • Monitor and maintain par levels of all bar products and supplies, ensuring that the bar is always stocked and ready for service
  • Set up and close workstations in compliance with established procedures, maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient bar area
  • Use MAST training to monitor and prevent over-service and address any alcohol-related concerns with guests
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with bartenders, wait staff, and management to ensure seamless service and quick resolution of any issues
