Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven bartending experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and endure physical activity
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service laws and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Gain insight into guests' preferences through verbal and nonverbal cues, anticipating needs and personalizing the bar experience
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, efficiency, and consistency, following established recipes and standards
  • Ensure high quality and consistency of the guest experience - details matter, from glassware and garnish to pacing and presentation
  • Speak knowledgeably and eloquently about the hotel, restaurant, menu, and beverage offerings, including spirits, wine pairings, and seasonal features
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar, including proper setup, breakdown, inventory awareness, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards
  • Process guest checks accurately, manage cash and POS transactions responsibly, and follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • Collaborate and work cohesively with servers, barbacks, kitchen, and leadership to ensure smooth service flow
  • Handle challenges with poise and positivity, resolving guest concerns thoughtfully and escalating when appropriate
  • Maintain the ambiance and standards of the restaurant and hotel at all times while on property, serving as a visible ambassador of the brand
