Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- one year of bartending experience and/or training preferred
- minimum age of 21 years
- ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- compliance with applicable state alcohol laws
- alcohol awareness training may be required depending on the location
- physical ability to stand for long periods and walk far distances

Job Duties
- interacting with customers
- setting up and maintaining a clean and sanitized serving area
- stocking bar
- mixing and serving alcoholic beverages
- cleaning and sanitizing equipment
- receiving payment for food and beverages using a computerized register
- ensuring compliance with state alcohol laws
- maintaining inventory control
- performing opening and closing duties including cash control and restocking
- serving catered parties from service or portable bars
- following established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders
- answering questions about menu items
- practicing tray service for food and beverage service
- maintaining quality control standards
- operating equipment such as beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, cash registers, steam equipment, dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers
- communicating effectively with patrons and co-workers
- incorporating safe work practices in job performance
