Job Requirements

  • Relevant bartending training and experience
  • Craft cocktail knowledge
  • Wine presentation and service knowledge
  • Knowledge of or desire to obtain experience in craft zero proof beverage offerings
  • Prior use of a manual espresso machine is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in quiet and fast-paced environments
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Indiana alcohol server permit
  • Prior hotel experience preferred
  • Willingness to learn hotel service integration
  • Weekend and holiday availability
  • Minimum lifting of 50 pounds
  • Physical ability to push, bend, stoop, reach upward, and manual dexterity
  • Ability to hear, write, type
  • Minimum pulling of 50 pounds

  • Availability on weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist lead bartender in ordering, receiving, stocking and maintaining bar supplies
  • Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
  • Ensure food and beverages are of high quality and properly presented
  • Assist in maintaining beverage systems
  • Help train new staff under the supervision of food and beverage supervisors
  • Understand and enforce Indiana and federal laws regarding food and liquor sales
