Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- minimum 2 years food and beverage experience preferably as bartender
- ability to obtain Food Service Sanitation certification
- maintain current state alcohol serving permit
- perform physical tasks including lifting 50lbs and moving 150lbs with assistance
- able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods
- willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- successfully pass pre-employment background check
- demonstrate competency as specified in training
- maintain neat and professional appearance

Job Duties
- Take food and beverage orders
- serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
- assist with restaurant and bar maintenance and cleaning
- provide high levels of service and professionalism
- adhere to food and beverage service standards
- greet guests enthusiastically and maintain positive relations
- anticipate guest needs and resolve complaints
- utilize suggestive selling techniques
- answer guest questions accurately
- serve snacks or food items at the bar
- prepare and mix cocktails and drinks
- clear soiled wares to dishwashing area
- arrange bottles and glasses attractively
- plan and organize cocktail lounge operations
- create drink recipes
- manage cash handling and process payments
- order liquors and supplies
- develop relationships with guests
- communicate with food and beverage staff
- maintain professional relationships with coworkers
- resolve guest complaints
- answer outlet phone with proper etiquette
- follow checklists and operating procedures
- prepare work area for shifts
- perform side work during non-busy hours
- clean bar areas and equipment
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- uphold professional appearance
- know all menu items and liquor brands
- comply with policies and state liquor regulations
- limit issues of excessive drinking
- maintain punctual attendance
- continually increase knowledge of food and beverage
- perform related manager-requested tasks
