Job Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary standing position during shift
- Must be able to access and navigate the facility
- Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment
- Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs
Job Qualifications
- Completion of mixology, bartending, or other related training preferred
- At least one year of related experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of drink preparation and/or service preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers with exceptional service
- Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons
- Ability to learn the POS register software used by bar
Job Duties
- Receives bar and food orders from patrons
- Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and soft drinks as ordered, as well as light-fare food orders
- Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar
- Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized
- Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles
- Maintains the bar with the necessary brand-required items
- Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs
- Collects payment from customers for drinks and food prepared and served
- Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive
- Submits requisition forms for liquor, beer, wine, bar menu food, and other bar-related supplies to Supervisor
