Job Requirements
- RBS certification mandatory
- Previous bartending experience required
- Ability to work Wednesday through Friday 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on-call hours for events
- Legal age to serve alcohol
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending experience
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification
- Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible serving practices
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
- Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Set up assigned bars, requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, glassware, ice, and produce
- Maintain stock, prepare, cure and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables
- Greet guests courteously
- Take and process drink orders, mix and garnish drinks using standard recipes and practice portion control
- Check guests for proper identification
- Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained
- Handle cash transactions including receiving, making change, verifying charges and recording sales
- Lock up and store beverage products, food, equipment and deposits securely
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards
- Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive bar display
- Wash and sterilize stemware
- Perform other duties as assigned
