Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid TAMS card
- Valid food handler card
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to perform cleaning tasks
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, speak and understand English
- Knowledge of menu items and ability to promote them
- Working knowledge of spirits, wine, beer and standard drink recipes
- Ability to operate a keyboard and POS system
- Ability to identify intoxication and refuse service tactfully
- Must have patience, tact and diplomacy
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work as a productive team member
- Professional in guest and associate interactions
- At least one year of bartending experience
Job Duties
- Maintain stock, cut and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes and other perishables daily
- Greet guests courteously and take drink orders
- Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
- Receive cash, make change, verify charges and balance money to audit reports
- Lock up and store beverages, food and equipment, deposit cash drops, and secure bank
- Clean banquet bar after functions
- Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards
- Maintain proper and adequate bar set-up for functions
