Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • prior bartending experience preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand and walk 90 percent of the workday
  • ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently
  • ability to stoop, bend and stretch frequently
  • ability to see, hear and speak
  • must be able to read and write English

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred
  • ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers
  • requires courtesy, tact and graciousness
  • set tables and maintain workstations in proper order
  • ability to take orders and provide service graciously and courteously
  • answer pertinent questions about menu items
  • must be able to effectively communicate, read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English

Job Duties

  • Takes orders, provides service and requested items graciously and courteously
  • answers pertinent questions about drink items
  • clears all tableware from tables and bar after service
  • cleans all glassware and dishes, including ashtrays, and distributes
  • stocks, restocks and rotates supplies
  • prepares garnishes for bar use
  • prepares snack trays
  • maintains all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges
  • assists supervisor with inventory of supplies
  • assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for residents and their guests
