Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years
- prior bartending experience preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand and walk 90 percent of the workday
- ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently
- ability to stoop, bend and stretch frequently
- ability to see, hear and speak
- must be able to read and write English
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred
- ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers
- requires courtesy, tact and graciousness
- set tables and maintain workstations in proper order
- ability to take orders and provide service graciously and courteously
- answer pertinent questions about menu items
- must be able to effectively communicate, read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English
Job Duties
- Takes orders, provides service and requested items graciously and courteously
- answers pertinent questions about drink items
- clears all tableware from tables and bar after service
- cleans all glassware and dishes, including ashtrays, and distributes
- stocks, restocks and rotates supplies
- prepares garnishes for bar use
- prepares snack trays
- maintains all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges
- assists supervisor with inventory of supplies
- assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for residents and their guests
