Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Valid alcohol beverage certification
- Food safety certification
- Legal age to prepare and serve alcohol
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Prior experience in fine dining, casual, or banquet service
- Ability to work in hot, humid, and noisy environment

Job Duties
- Attends members in private club by taking and serving food and beverage orders in dining room, clubrooms, or cabana
- Mixes and serves beverages to patrons seated at tables in bar or cocktail lounge
- Takes orders for beverages and serves light meals and hors d'oeuvres
- Requests identification from customers when legal age is in question
- Serves meals to patrons according to rules of etiquette in a formal setting
- Writes order on check and keys it into the computer to inform kitchen of order
- Garnishes and decorates dishes prior to serving
- Observes diners to respond to additional requests and determine when meal is completed
- Places orders for clubroom reservation
- Performs opening and closing inventories as designated by management
- Participates in monthly inventory of food and beverage items
- Assists with setting up for major events, remote bars, and satellite stations
- Pulls glassware from stores and kitchen areas to restock bar requirements
