Job Requirements
- Ability to obtain a Class III B Gaming License
- 1 (one) year of experience in bartending is required
- Bartending School or equivalent training preferred
- Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit
- Must have or be able to obtain an Alcohol Service Permit Class 12
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of premium spirits, wines, champagne, and other luxury beverages
- Knowledge of the BERG liquor dispensing system
- Knowledge of P.O.S. systems
- Knowledge of health and safety standards, and safety regulations as required
- Skilled in basic math
- Ability to demonstrate excellent guest service and communication skills
- Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
- Ability to speak and read English, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with guests
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the luxury hotel and its guests
- Must be 21 years or older
Job Duties
- Exemplifies MCRs values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism
- Practice, support, and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort
- Create and serve a wide range of high-quality cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages with precision and artistry
- Promote positive guest relations and consistently prompt service and engage in conversations, recommend drinks based on guest preferences, and deliver a memorable experience that exceeds expectations
- Engage in suggestive selling techniques to promote premium and specialty beverages, maximizing revenue opportunities
- Assist in training new bartenders, ensuring consistency in beverage preparation, service standards, and knowledge
- Take daily inventory and stock supplies
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all bar equipment
- Maintain an orderly, accurate par level for bar service outlets
- Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive work environment
- promote positive team member relations and report issues to the appropriate personnel
- Other duties as assigned
