Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years bartending experience in luxury or upscale environment
  • Proven mixology and beverage service skills
  • Food Handler's Permit or ability to obtain
  • Alcohol Server Permit or ability to obtain
  • Legal age to serve alcohol in Utah
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of bartending experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale restaurant/lounge environment
  • Extensive knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
  • Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
  • Excellent guest service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Food Handler's Permit and Alcohol Server Permit required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Must be of legal age to serve liquor in State of Utah
  • Strong attention to detail, product knowledge, and presentation
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to resort recipes and standards
  • Engage guests in a polished, approachable, and conversational manner while maintaining professionalism
  • Provide menu knowledge and recommendations on cocktails, wine, and spirits based on guest preferences
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and equipment throughout service
  • Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines, ensuring guest safety and compliance with Utah DABS regulations
  • Assist in setup and breakdown of the bar before and after service, including restocking, inventory, and sanitation duties
  • Handle all guest transactions accurately through the POS system
  • ensure proper cash handling and reconciliation
