Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior bartending experience in hospitality or food service
  • Knowledge of craft cocktails and alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
  • Valid Food Handlers Certificate
  • Valid Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Must be of legal drinking age
  • Must pass background check

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an establishment with bar and food service
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages and different types of cuisines
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
  • High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods
  • Food Handlers Certificate
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certificate

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests to the bar with outstanding hospitality
  • Verify identification and age requirements of customers
  • Mix traditional and creative cocktails per menu specs
  • Process payment from customers
  • Clean glasses and bar utensils
  • Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
  • Record and balance receipts and prepare daily reports
  • Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
  • Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
  • Perform any other job-related duties assigned by supervisor
