Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior bartending experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- legal age to serve alcohol
- strong communication skills
- ability to stand for long periods
- knowledge of ABC laws and responsible beverage service
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- extensive knowledge of liquor, wine and beer
- excellent customer service skills
- strong multitasking abilities
- familiarity with POS systems
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
- knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly warm welcome
- make recommendations and answer all related inquiries
- check identification of all guests to verify they are of legal drinking age
- take orders from serving staff and directly from guests
- record drink orders accurately into POS system
- prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes
- upsell drink and menu items to guests
- respond promptly to requests from guests in a polite and professional manner
- follow all established procedures for serving limits
- display glasses and bottles in an eye catching and attractive display
- ensure clean glasses, bar equipment and working areas
- comply with all health, safety and sanitation standards and policies
- monitor inventory and restock bar
