Job Duties

  • Set up bar with supplies and products prior to opening
  • ensure correct product display to promote sales
  • receive and prepare drink orders using standard recipes
  • ring drink orders into register and handle payments
  • provide attentive guest service and enhance guest relations
  • close down bar ensuring inventory security and cleanliness
  • assist servers with food and beverage service when necessary
  • inform guests of daily specials and chef's specialties
  • verify orders for accuracy and guest satisfaction
  • clear and reset tables
  • perform clean-up and closing duties
  • attend pre-shift line-ups and submit daily financial reports
  • enforce legal drinking age and responsible alcohol service policies
  • maintain neat appearance and uniform
  • report any guest complaints promptly
