Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong mental capacity to learn and apply knowledge
- Physical stamina and energy
- High emotional intelligence to interact with guests professionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a full service bar
- Strong knowledge of alcohol mixology and classic cocktail preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate a POS system
- Excellent guest service and verbal communication skills
- Ability to recognize and learn regular guests
Job Duties
- Follow Flo's steps of service for all bar guests
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- Present food and drink menus and make recommendations
- Accurately take food and beverage orders at the bar and lounge
- Deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames
- Prepare and serve drinks according to standard recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all bar areas
- Organize bottles and glasses attractively
- Greet guests professionally
- Verify guests' legal drinking age
- Accept guest payment and operate POS system
- Wash and sanitize glassware and bar utensils
- Prep garnishes
- Report equipment and maintenance issues
- Set up and maintain bar stock levels
- Assist with restocking
- Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operation
