Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of 1 year experience operating a full service bar
- strong knowledge of alcohol mixology and classic cocktail preparation
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
- basic math skills
- ability to handle money accurately
- experience operating a POS system
- excellent guest service skills
- strong verbal communication
- ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Follow Flo's steps of service for all bar guests
- consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- present food and drink menus with full knowledge of bar items and make recommendations
- accurately take food and beverage orders in a timely manner
- deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames
- prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all bar areas
- maintain bottles and glassware in an attractive manner
- greet guests professionally and verify age for alcohol purchase
- accept guest payments and operate POS system
- wash and sanitize glassware and bar utensils
- prep garnishes for drinks
- report equipment problems to bar manager
- set up and maintain stock levels
- assist with restocking bar inventory
- fill in as needed for smooth restaurant operation
- stand for extended periods
- lift up to 40 pounds
- personally recognize regular guests
- interact effectively with guests
- communicate verbally with clarity
- work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
