Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to stand on feet for extended periods
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
- Greet guests in a timely and professional manner
- Verify guests purchasing alcohol are at least 21 years of age
- Accept guest payment and process credit card charges
- Follow Flo's steps of service
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- Prepare and serve drinks consistently with recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- Report equipment and maintenance issues
- Set up and maintain bar stock
- Be available to fill in as needed
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a full service bar
- Strong knowledge of alcohol mixology, drink menus, and classic cocktail preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills
- Ability to accurately handle money and operate POS system
- Excellent guest service and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Follow Flo's steps of service for all bar guests
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- Present food and drink menus with full knowledge of bar and menu items
- Accurately take food and beverage orders in a timely manner
- Deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all bar areas
- Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner
- Greet guests professionally and verify legal drinking age
- Accept guest payment and operate POS system
- Wash and sanitize glassware and bar utensils
- Prep garnishes for drinks
- Report equipment problems and maintenance issues
- Set up and maintain bar stock levels
- Assist with restocking and replenishment
- Be available to fill in as needed for smooth operation
