Job Duties
- Punctually attends all shifts and staff meetings
- prepares and stocks garnishes and mixes for use in the lounge
- maintains an intimate knowledge of all house and classic cocktails and spirits
- knows and adheres to wash lines for various types of glassware
- can shake, stir and jigger pour properly
- requisitions and receives all liquor, beer and wine products and maintains par set for lounge
- collects payments from customers in accordance with established cash handling procedures
- suggests and serves food and beverage to lounge customers
- maintains a clean and organized bar with polished glassware, presented garnishes and tools
- safely handles bar appliances, smallwares, and utensils
- ensures lounge inventories correspond to cash register totals
- provides customer service to restaurant and lounge customers
- addresses complaints and requests promptly and courteously
- performs opening, closing, sidework and cleaning duties
- assists others without being asked
- adheres to Denny's Brand Standards and internal policies
- provides prompt and courteous service
- understands bartender/customer confidentiality
- completes all other assigned tasks
