Job Requirements

  • Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
  • must be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant trading area
  • minimum one year of bartending experience
  • ability to stand or walk for majority of a shift
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to reach overhead, bend, stoop, and wipe
  • available to work weekends and varied shifts
  • willingness to accept direction and constructive feedback
  • adherence to uniform and appearance guidelines
  • no substance influence while working
  • pass drug and alcohol test within 90 days
  • maintain positive attitude and teamwork
  • follow all company rules, policies, and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
  • ability to communicate and understand predominant language(s) of the restaurant trading area
  • at least one year of closely related bartending experience
  • experience in high volume or fast casual dining environment preferred
  • knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits with the ability to prepare and present beverages
  • ability to interact with public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
  • ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and policies
  • cash handling and customer service experience preferred
  • stamina to work 50 to 60 hours per week

Job Duties

  • Greet customers and take food and beverage orders
  • provide information about products and discuss featured items
  • follow recipes and product directions for mixing beverages
  • collect payments and operate cash registers following cash handling policies
  • secure all monies at the end of each shift
  • follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication
  • handle intoxicated guests appropriately
  • follow all company policies for customer service, adult beverage, and cash handling
  • maintain a clean, sanitized and well stocked bar
  • adhere to all company safety and sanitation procedures
  • accept direction and constructive criticism from management
  • work a variety of hours, days, and shifts including weekends
  • maintain a positive and pleasant attitude every shift
  • stand or walk for the majority of the shift
  • work at tables and bars up to 36 inches high
  • lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
  • reach overhead and bend or stoop as needed
  • perform additional duties as assigned
