Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role preferred
  • ATC Responsible Vendor’s License
  • basic math and computer/tablet skills

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests within one minute of arrival
  • prepare all cocktails to the restaurant’s specifications efficiently and consistently
  • provide guests with the same high standard of service as in the dining room
  • memorize and recall several drink recipes to ensure quick service
  • possess in-depth knowledge of standard cocktail recipes
  • set up and break down the bar including cleaning and organizing all surfaces and equipment
  • stay updated with frequent changes in food and beverage menus
  • accurately enter all drink orders via POS system
  • follow company cash handling procedures
  • keep track of open tickets and closed credit card receipts
  • prioritize ticket orders to complete tasks timely
  • alert managers and servers of out-of-stock bar items
  • restock bar supplies at the beginning and end of each shift
  • manage all cash transactions including consolidating shift cash
  • count the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar cooler
  • uphold cleanliness of the bar throughout the shift including sanitizing glassware
  • check identification of patrons to verify age requirements
  • maintain knowledge of food pairings
  • prepare garnishes and set up the bar before opening
  • wash and sterilize bar glassware
  • communicate effectively and demonstrate teamwork
  • maintain strong professional presence including punctuality and proper uniform
  • follow service standards
  • demonstrate integrity and honesty
  • perform side work and closing duties independently and thoroughly
  • work efficiently to complete tasks within set time frames
  • attend scheduled employee meetings and participate actively
