Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- alcohol awareness card required
- must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- maintain updated knowledge of brands of beer, wine and liquors
- know ingredients to cocktails and specialty drinks, garnishes required, proper glassware
- continuously watch for signs of intoxication
- ability to bend, lift or carry goods weighing up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods
- ability to work in confined spaces and awkward positions
- manual dexterity to use corkscrew, knives, and ice scoop
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Alcohol Awareness Card required
- maintain an updated knowledge of brands of beer, wine and liquors
- know the ingredients to cocktails and specialty drinks, the garnishes they require, and the proper glassware
- continuously watch for signs of intoxication to protect all guests
- ability to bend, lift or carry goods weighing up to 50 pounds on a continuous schedule
- ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods
- ability to work in confined spaces and awkward positions, including standing, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and reaching overhead for extended periods
- manual dexterity of hand to use corkscrew, knives, and ice scoop
Job Duties
- Greet and communicate with all guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- insure prompt expedient and courteous service to all guests and visitors to the outlet at all times
- smile and show genuine interest in guests’ needs or questions and always attempt to accommodate any reasonable request
- receive and understand beverage orders and repeat them back to guest and/or servers for accuracy
- maintain an updated knowledge of brands of beer, wine and liquors offered
- know the ingredients to commonly asked cocktails and specialty drinks, the garnishes they require, the proper glassware for them and current prices
- properly mix drinks, set for presentation and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as requested by guests and/or cocktail servers
- adhere to, enforce and practice all alcoholic beverage laws, policies, and regulations
- circulate through assigned bar area continuously to provide superior guest service
- contact Beverage Manager/Supervisor on duty for any guest issues if unable to assist
- maintain a clean and safe work environment, free of dirty glassware, ashtrays, beer bottles and dispose of other trash
- abide by established standards for health, safety and continual side work duties
- work as a team member
- increase revenue by suggestive selling
- decrease expenses through proper handling of product
- perform other duties as assigned
