Concord Pavilion is a renowned open-air amphitheater located in Concord, California, boasting a seating capacity of 12,500. Set against the stunning backdrop of Mt. Diablo, it serves as a vibrant hub for live music and entertainment. The pavilion is known for hosting an impressive lineup of legendary musical acts, making it a beloved venue for music enthusiasts throughout the region. The 2024 season promises an exciting roster of artists including Steely Dan, Tears for Fears, Chicago, Brian Wilson, Santana, and Earth, Wind & Fire, among others. Job Requirements

  • Must have Responsible Beverage Server certificate
  • Must have food handlers certificate
  • Minimum of two years bartending experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs continuously
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Must maintain a well groomed appearance and personal hygiene
  • Must have access to a working email
  • Must practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies
  • Must follow cash handling procedures
  • Must attend mandatory meetings

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Experience as a bartender for at least two years preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of drink recipes
  • Ability to create and serve drinks in a timely manner
  • Extensive knowledge of wines
  • Maintain personal hygiene and well groomed appearance
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Willingness to exceed guest expectations
  • Ability to listen and take direction from supervisor
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations and guest relations
  • Personable, friendly and welcoming
  • Ability to read, speak and write English
  • Ability to remember and promote menu items
  • Ability to transport up to 50 lbs continuously
  • Must have Responsible Beverage Server certificate and food handlers certificate
  • Possess a working email for communication

Job Duties

  • Provide positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages
  • Utilize high quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, fresh herbs and spices to create drinks
  • Greet guests and take beverage orders
  • Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered in compliance with company standards
  • Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner
  • Provide information on wine characteristics, make appropriate suggestions and serve wine properly
  • Work with culinary team to create mixers and garnishes
  • Check identification of guests for age verification
  • Keep track of inventory and handle assigned bank following cash procedures
  • Collect payment for drinks and balance receipts
  • Ensure bar area is fully equipped and prepare inventory requisitions
  • Serve food items to guests seated at the bar
  • Maintain knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Organize catering storage areas
  • Attend mandatory meetings
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor
