Job Requirements
- Complete a background investigation with favorable results
- Complete a favorable pre-employment physical
- Obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training
- Meet minimum age requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages
- Be a U.S. Citizen, National, or owe allegiance to the U.S.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull moderate weights
- Registered for Selective Service if male born after December 31, 1959
- Ability to pass an employment verification (E-Verify) check
- Direct deposit enrollment required
- Ability to provide REAL ID or combination of authorized identity documents for installation access
- Ability to satisfactorily meet pre-employment requirements prior to entrance on duty
- Comply with all bargaining unit regulations
- Submit complete application package including resume and supporting documents by closing date
Job Qualifications
- Experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale
- Knowledge of a wide variety of beverages and ability to mix exotic drinks
- Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve problems or seek assistance
- Ability to follow cash handling procedures
- Physical ability to frequently lift 5 to 15 pounds, push and pull 10 to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
- Clear communication skills
- Skill in dealing with the public
- Ability to complete pre-employment physical
- Minimum age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages
- Ability to obtain Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training
- Successful completion of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level)
Job Duties
- Operate a full service bar
- Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages following established recipes
- Deliver drinks to bar waiters or serve directly to patrons
- Receive payments or charge to member's account
- Wash glasses and bar equipment
- Prepare garnishes for mixed drinks
- Stock service bar or portable bar for catered functions
- Maintain proper bar operation, receipts, and inventory accountability
- Operate cash register and make change
- Prepare documentation for cash funds accountability if required
