Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to three months related experience and/or training
  • valid AES card
  • Nevada Gaming Card
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Job Qualifications

  • one to three months related experience and/or training
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • maintains a valid AES card
  • holds a Nevada Gaming Card

Job Duties

  • Counts monies in cash register at the beginning and end of shift at the vault
  • takes beverage orders from guests and cocktail servers
  • mixes drinks in accordance with drink recipes
  • collects payment from guests
  • gives change to guests desiring to play video poker machines at the bar
  • interacts with guests to provide good customer service and determines when guest(s) should not be served alcoholic beverages
  • prepares paperwork at end of shift, logging any repairs, and documenting any incident or problem
  • collects cash from non-playing customers ordering drinks
  • insures that comp'd guests are actively playing in the casino and reports drink scammers to the CSM
  • understands and complies with company policies regarding the comping of drinks to gaming customers
  • follows all State and Local laws regarding alcoholic beverages
  • understands and complies with all gaming regulations
  • internal controls
  • and departmental policies and procedures
  • maintains a valid AES card
  • occasionally required to perform cocktail server duties
