Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One experience bartending required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle money, make change and utilize office machines in normal day-to-day activities
- Ability to operate machines and equipment used including cash register, POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting professionalism
- Ability to open and close bar and maintain necessary supplies and cleanliness
- Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make appropriate change
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One experience bartending required
- Two or more years of bartender experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of two years of college preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people professionally
- Ability to operate machines and equipment including cash register, POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel Kitchen+Bar following company policies and procedures
- Maintain the bar and food prep areas in a clean and organized manner
- Serve and assist guests with beverage orders and provide excellent customer service
- Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, cocktail server, or other positions as needed
- Handle money, make change, and utilize office machines in daily tasks
- Maintain knowledge of the hotel, local area, and events to assist guests effectively
