Job Requirements
- must be 21 years old or older
- one experience bartending required
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications
- effective communication skills in English
- ability to mix and serve drinks quickly
- ability to handle money and use POS software
- customer service skills
- ability to open and close bar
- ability to maintain cleanliness and order in work areas
Job Qualifications
- must be 21 years old or older
- one experience bartending required
- two or more years of bartender experience preferred
- a high school diploma or equivalent
- completion of two years of college preferred
- ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements
- ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English
- ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people
- ability to open and close bar and maintain areas
- ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make appropriate change
Job Duties
- open and close the hotel kitchen and bar following company policies and procedures
- maintain cleanliness and organization of food prep and bar areas
- serve and assist guests with drinks and inquiries
- mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server as needed
- handle money, make change, and utilize office machines
- operate machines and equipment including cash register, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
