Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One year experience bartending required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications
- Ability to take written and verbal direction in English and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle money and make change
- Ability to operate machines and equipment including cash register, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to open and close bar and maintain bar supplies
- Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make appropriate change
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old or older
- One year experience bartending required
- Two or more years of bartender experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of two years of college preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage difficult situations professionally
- Ability to operate machines and equipment such as cash register, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- Open and close the hotel Kitchen+Bar following company policies and procedures
- Maintain the food prep and bar area in a clean and well-organized manner
- Serve and assist guests with drinks and inquiries
- Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- Handle money, make change, and operate cash registers and POS software
- Obtain all supplies necessary for mixing cocktails and maintain the bar inventory
- Perform additional duties as bartender, prep cook, cocktail server, or other roles as needed
